Hello,

my name is Kyle and I want to thank you first and foremost for taking a couple of minutes from your day to read about my situation and why I have chosen to put together a GoFundMe page.

Some of you may know that nearly 7 years ago after a suicide attempt with a train, i have been left with some complex conditions which have had a profound effect on my life and future. With a spinal cord injury and wheelchair bound since then.

These days I try to get out more and I love nothing more than to help people and I try to give hope to others each day as life is precious.

I love to connect with my church and to volunteer and I’m now doing a discipleship year with my church as it’s only through my faith in Jesus that I am alive today!

As many could imagine it’s been a long and tough road, however god gives me strength and hope to live on!

Despite seeking help from the NHS for this electrical adaptation for my wheelchair, sadly it’s not available on the NHS.

Therefore I have created this go fund me page to humbly ask for your help in giving me some kind of hope for my future.

As I am finding it hard to keep up with the demand of having to push myself each day up the hills and especially in the rain it is very demanding and also dangerous.

while I understand there is no miracle cure, I do firmly believe that access to specialized equipment can significantly improve the quality of my life and alleviate the daily struggles that I face.

Inturn this will allow me to get out more in the community and connect more with others and also nature as for me nature does nurture.

This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. I feel so uncomfortable with this and embarrassed to be having to ask for help and I’ve been so reluctant to, but I’ve reached a point where I can’t continue as it’s taking its toll on me.

I really need your help to improve my quality of life and hopefully make some recovery.
