I am Sean Michael Chick. I am the author of books on the American Civil War, including The Battle of Petersburg, June 15-18, 1864, Grant’s Left Hook: The Bermuda Hundred Campaign, May 5-June 7, 1864, and Dreams of Victory: P.G.T. Beauregard in the Civil War. I am currently writing a five volume history of the Petersburg campaign for the Emerging Civil War series. The campaign involved no less than nine Federal offensive and over twenty major battle, making it the longest, bloodiest, and most complicated campaign of the conflict. For the book, I need to commission numerous maps, which will be costly. I am raising money for this because in 2024 I was unemployed for a few months and do not have the funds to pay for the maps.

Anyone contributing will be thanked in volume 3 of the series, which covers the battles of Fussell's Mill, Globe Tavern, and Ream's Station.
