Fund Maci's Journey to Miss Kentucky USA

Hi friends, family, and community,

I’m incredibly honored to be preparing for another year of competition in Miss Kentucky USA 2025. Since competing last year, I’ve devoted myself to growth—not only personally, but as an advocate, educator, and voice for children and families impacted by trauma and injustice.

Over the past year, I have:

• Taught special education full-time, while balancing single motherhood and ongoing community outreach.

• Became a certified Triple P (Positive Parenting Practices) educator, teaching parenting classes to promote healthier family systems.

• Worked as a Family Preservation Specialist, helping prevent the removal of children from their homes through trauma-informed intervention.

Looking ahead, with hopes of becoming Miss Kentucky USA 2025, I plan to:

• Begin publishing my book, Reactive Justice, which explores how our systems were built and operate in response to traumas instead of taking preventative precautions—and why that must change.

• Pursue graduate-level education to advance reform from an administrative and policy-making level.

This year, I’m stepping back on stage not just for a title, but to amplify a message: our systems must do better for families. As a survivor, a mother, and a community advocate, I’m using this platform to spotlight the gaps families face after trauma—and to show other women that their stories don’t end in courtrooms. They can begin there.

Competing is costly—entry fees, wardrobe, travel, and preparation add up quickly. I’m seeking to raise $1,000 to help cover these expenses so I can compete with focus, confidence, and purpose.
