Hi! My name is Liv.

I’m 9 years old and I’ve been volunteering at the Alliston & District Humane Society for 3 years. I love spending time with the cats—reading to them, playing, and helping them feel safe and loved while they wait for their forever homes.

When the new expansion is finished, I’m starting something called Liv’s Library. It’s a special place where kids like me can come read to the cats. Reading helps the cats feel calm and happy, and it also helps kids practice reading in a fun way.

My dream is to raise enough money to sponsor and name a room at the Humane Society where Liv’s Library will be. That room will have my bookshelf, books, and a cozy space for kids and cats to share stories together.
