Fund Lisa's Stair Lift and Nursing Care

Hi, my name is Heather and I’m the cousin of Lisa Odom. I’m also her power of attorney. Lisa has been a K8 teacher for 30 years in Fresno, CA. She was found unconscious in her home in early April. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with terminal stage 4 brain cancer also known as a Glioblastoma. She had a craniotomy to remove the tumor but they couldn’t remove it all. Lisa made fabulous progress and was in rehab when it was noticed her incision was opening and she had an infection. On Memorial Day she was taken back to the hospital and had a piece of her skull removed and the infection cleaned.

After the MRI we were given horrible news that both tumors had came back and have grown substantially. Lisa was given the option for treatment or hospice and she has chosen to return home and be placed on hospice.

Lisa has bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs and would love a chair lift but it is not covered. She wants to be able to be with her animals and go up and down the stairs. Since all of her claims are still in process and waiting on medical records we could use some help with a stair lift. Any extra money would go to paying for extra hours of nursing care at home not covered by insurance.
