Fund LeVon's Delegate Dream in Chicago

Friends,

My name is LeVon Barnes and I'm proud to have been elected to represent North Carolina and District 4 (Alamance, Durham, Orange, Person, and Chatham) counties as a delegate to the Democratic National Convention in Chicago on Aug 18th-23rd. This is my very first convention and it is also the first time since the early 1990's that a resident of Alamance County was elected to go. I'm also the only current public school teacher going in the entire delegation.

As you know this is a worldwide event with the highest security levels, so the cost to go is massive. I'm in the process of running for office (NC House-64) all at the same time so my dollars are as stretched as one can get. I'm asking you, my friends and supporters, to help me get to Chicago so I can attend this historic event. Every single dollar matters, please share with friends and colleagues.
