Aberdeenshire Councils decision to mothball 3 local nurseries has left many families in a state of uncertainty. We are raising funds URGENTLY to legally challenge this decision and we need your support.

Mothballing these nurseries will not only affect the children who attend them but also the local economy and community. According to a report by the Scottish Government, early years education is crucial for a child's development, and closures can have long term effects on their educational outcomes along with the emotional upset the children will face being separated from their nurturing teachers.

The decision to mothball these nurseries disproportionately affects rural communities, where access to childcare is already limited. Given the lack of nearby options this will make it harder for parents to balance work and family life.
