This summer, the Asher Institute of New Orleans served over 800 children. Now, we need your help to continue. We have been a lifeline for our city’s youth and future workforce. We’re raising $420,000 to support two urgent causes:

CAUSE 1: SAVE OUR SUMMER CAMP

Our free youth summer camp has been a beacon of hope for over 800 children across three New Orleans locations, including the Dryades YMCA.

Since May 26, students have received:

• STEM & digital literacy enrichment

• Culinary and fitness training

• Mentorship and leadership workshops

• Daily meals in a safe, inspiring space

Despite funding delays, our team stepped up personally, taking on tens of thousands in debt to ensure no child was turned away. This was a promise we made to our community — but now, we need your help to keep that promise alive.

• Keep the camp open until school starts

• Cover overdue costs for staff, meals, and facilities

With the closure of Job Corps in New Orleans, hundreds of young adults have been left without a path to meaningful careers. We’re stepping in with a solution:

The Asher Institute of New Orleans Trade School is offering 100 partial scholarships ($3,200 each) to students who can’t afford college but want to build careers in:

• Cybersecurity

• Information Technology

• Culinary Arts

• Hospitality Management

• And more…
