My name is Korie. I'm sober almost 6 years. I'm an EMT & just became a nurse & I work in a drug rehab program. When I left in 2019 to go to a faith based program, for my 2 girls, 5 & 18 at the time, my oldest daughter actually felt lost & she continued to spiral when I left. Since I've been home, I've rescued her from being trafficked, amongst so many other traumatic experiences & she's fallen so far in addiction. Her drug of choice is that of "Russian roulette", fentanyl. She's been homeless & surviving in ways that I'd rather not expose but has been homeless & I'd go months not knowing where my baby was. She OD & got charges last year for Fentanyl. I've prayed her in jail in hopes of her changing. Well, someone bailed her out & within a few weeks, she again was found at the wheel, OD'n. Her grandparents have spent a fortune on an attorney for her. She has court April 1st & our prayers & hopes are that the judge will court order her to Home of Grace. I work at a 28 day program & my girl needs DEEP & extended healing from trauma, more than 28 days can offer. She's been accepted to The Home of Grace for women but I have to come up with at least $1000 more by April 1st. This is literally my last ditch attempt at saving my babies life. If you can do ANYTHING to help us, you will be an answer to the prayers of SO many who truly love her & just want her back. I've never done this but if you've loved someone trapped in the hell of addiction, you understand my desperation, especially as a mother. I'm not too proud to ask & I trust God.
