Hello,
I’m Charlie and I am fundraising to help my dear friend and colleague Julieanne get the treatment she needs.
Julieanne’s world was turned upside down on 19th June when she was diagnosed with stage 4 Esophageal Cancer. In early July 2025 she was dealt the devastating news that it had spread, making treatment. A devoted mother to her autistic son Sonny - this news has put all their lives on hold but she Is not ready to give up. Julianne is determined to explore every possible option that could give her more time and more hope.
In Julianne's words:
“As a mother, my greatest motivation is my son. He is autistic, and I am his main carer. We have always faced life’s challenges together, and the thought of leaving him before I have done everything possible to fight this disease is heartbreaking.
After being told that certain treatments are not available to me through the NHS, I am seeking a second opinion from Dr James Wilson, a leading oncologist in London. I have an appointment on 2nd July to discuss further investigations and treatment options that may help extend my life and improve my quality of life.”
The funds raised will help cover:
• Specialist consultations and second opinions
• MRI scans and CT scans
• Blood tests and monitoring
• Access to the latest treatment options recommended by my oncologist
• Travel costs to and from London for appointments and treatments
Julianne has been left to face this battle largely on her own. Between cancer treatment, caring for my son and being the best mother possible - life has become really tough for Julieanne.
She is not asking for luxury or comfort. She is am asking for a chance. We are fundraising to give her that chance.
A chance to access treatment that may not otherwise be available.
A chance to create more memories with her son.
A chance to be here for the person who needs her most.
Every donation, no matter how small, will help Julieanne continue this fight. If you are unable to donate, sharing my story with others would mean just as much.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and prayers during the most difficult time of Julianne’s life.
With love and hope,
Charlie and Julieanne
