Traveling to Ghana with fellow HBCU peers to immerse in a new culture, serve in communities, engage in research, and continue to grow as a global servant leader means so much to me. North Carolina Central University empowers their student leaders to research abroad. The experience will greatly impact my emerging career and shape my personal, social, and professional development skills as college student.
