Hey! We are trying to raise funds to help get Joe back home to Baltimore and his health back on track with hopes to get him back on his feet. On July 9, 2025 his life partner passed away leaving him unable to stay in New Jersey anymore as she was his caretaker for the last couple of months. Joe has been fighting with wounds on his feet causing him to not be able to walk and losing majority of his strength to do every day activities. Joe was working up until the doctors would not allow him on his feet and after 3 months of short term disability he was fired.. and he has exhausted the savings that he did have paying bills and surviving because he hasn’t had any income since March. Joe has now been in the hospital for going on 3 weeks while the family has come together to get his apartment cleaned out, storage cleaned out and all of his belongings back to Baltimore for safe keeping. Joe will be going into a rehab in Jersey once released from the hospital then will be heading home. He has a long way to go to get his health and strength back to where it needs to be. With no income, Joe is unable to pay his weekly/monthly bills. We are working on getting help from the state, but at a stand still until he is physically back in Maryland. We are hoping to raise enough money to keep him comfortable during his recovery.
