Help Support Jessica’s Cancer Battle

Hi my name is Katie McGrath. I’m asking for help on behalf of my friend Jess, because she would never ask for it. Jess is a beautiful person inside and out, a newlywed, a nurse who dedicates herself to helping others. She was diagnosed with a rare cancer called angiosarcoma. At this young age, she will be undergoing a left total mastectomy to remove the lump. She has been back and forth for treatments and tests, pet scans, MRIs and biopsies, and expenses add up quickly. She and her husband work hard and always look out for others. Dave has used up all his sick time to help his wife, and Jess will be out of commission during the treatment process. After the mastectomy is said and done, she may still need to undergo chemotherapy and will definitely need to be monitored for the next 2 years, as this type of cancer has a high reoccurrence rate.
