Help me fund Jean's surgery

Hello everyone!

My 4-year-old cat Jean has a cyst near her breast lining, which recently burst, leaving poor Jean in a cone of shame. The vet advised that the mass must be surgically removed as soon as possible. It might be breast cancer, but we won't know until we get it removed and biopsied. I cannot afford the surgical expenses alone on my graduate student stipend. If you are able to donate anything, I would be extremely grateful for your help. All money will go towards Jean's surgery and recovery, as well as the fee for tissue biopsy to determine if the tumor is malignant. I will upload photos of the bill to make expenses transparent to contributors. If I receive more money than required for the surgery, I will donate the extra money to local animal shelters.
