Hi! I’m Jasper, also known as Ratwyfe, and I’m raising funds to pay out-of-pocket for my gender affirming double-incision mastectomy (top surgery for short) as well as some of the costs that will follow during my healing period.

I wanted this weight off of my chest before I knew I was trans at all. I’ve struggled with confidence around my body since I was 12 years old and felt myself developing in ways that didn’t feel right, and these cumbersome bags of tissue that I never asked for have stopped me from pursuing or enjoying movement on more occasions than I can count. I’m 21 years old now and more sure of this decision than almost anything else.

Donating to this fund means helping me exist in a body that I feel I belong in. It means funding my ability to jump around get into the music at shows, swim and run unencumbered, and wear what I want to without being crippled by dysphoria.
