Since an accident in 2021, Jason has been dealing with chronic, unrelenting pain from a broken elbow that has left him unable to lift more than three pounds with his dominant arm. After two failed surgeries, his condition has only worsened, the elbow implant won't hold, the tendons are torn, and arthritis is advancing rapidly. Unfortunately, there’s no chance for recovery, and constant pain is his reality.

Due to a congenital heart condition, Jason is ineligible for arthritis injections, which would pose a dangerous infection risk. Despite his struggles, Jason has remained determined to rebuild his life. He’s been working toward getting disability benefits, but it’s a long and challenging process. He is also hoping to find work through Michigan Rehabilitation Services.

To prove his disability and increase his chances of approval, Jason’s doctor has recommended a Functional Capacity Examination. This 4-hour test is essential to documenting the limitations he faces daily, but it costs $200 an hour—something Jason simply cannot afford. Insurance won’t cover it, and he’s already sold anything of value on eBay just to get by.

Jason was once a dedicated worker in warehouses and even dreamed of competing on American Ninja Warrior. Now, he needs our help. With the cost of the test and mounting expenses, Jason is struggling to cover basic needs like food and bills.
