On Sunday morning, July 13, 2025, the world lost one of the most wonderful, loving, caring, truly amazing human beings ever! My husband, Jason Gillen, suddenly passed away in his sleep. At the age of just 50 years old, he was taken from all of us who loved him dearly way too soon. (I am Brandi Gillen, Jason's wife. I don't know why it says this is being organized by "Brandi Hic")

We had been together off and on for over 30 years, engaged for 8 years, and married for almost 3 months. He was the love of my life and the best husband I ever could have asked for. He was the most amazing stepfather to all four of my boys, ages 12-18. As my 16-year-old said, there is nothing about this that is fair! We all lost a truly remarkable man, a talented and gifted musician, an amazing friend, a devoted stepfather, a son, a brother, a son-in-law, a wonderful husband, and the love of my life!

Life will never be the same!

This was so completely unexpected and we had no plans in place to anticipate this kind of a situation.
