
If you spoke with me or read my blogs while I was in Zambia, you definitely heard of
Thressa Mukuma. She was my host mother on top of caring for 8 of her own children. Thressa passed away on January 20th from cerebral malaria. It was extremely sudden and is going to have major effects on the community of Kabanda where she was an important matriarch, but it will especially affect her children who she loved and provided for.
I am raising money for a fund for her children to be able to attend school - starting with her three oldest daughters - Jackline, Jane, and Rebecca.
