My name is Jacob Tarlton and I will be marching with Genesis Drum and Bugle Corps this summer. Genesis is a world-class drum corps that travels and competes around the country over the summer, providing performers with world-class music education.

With the costs of putting on this production and traveling, the dues owed for participating end up costing $5,800. Along with these fees, costs for things like a flight from Indianapolis following world championships and travel costs to and from Austin end up nearing $7,000. Marching world-class drum corps has been my dream since I was in middle school, and I don’t want the cost of marching to prevent me from achieving this dream.
