Help Fund my dream of finally becoming a mum a mother

Hi, for those new to my story my Name is Aimee I'm 40 years old and I have been suffering unexplained infertility for over 18 years. I have been very unfortunate to have suffered 8 miscarriages and lost my baby son due to premature birth at 27+4 days.

Before I go into my story (cus it is pretty long).

Let me explain why I'm needing to raise the amount of £8,500.

For the IVF protocol that I need has been estimated ar £15-£20,000 in the UK for one round.

I'm currently looking at the same protocol but abroad as I have been advised to do so by my Gynecologist, due to their greater success rates and lower fees.

For my IVF protocol it will cost us approx £8,500 in Spain for one cycle. Or £17,000 for triple cycle. HUGE difference I know!!!

My journey started at 21 years old when I had my first 4 miscarriages between the age of 21 and 24. All pregnancies ended around the 8 week mark and after extensive NHS testing It was diagnosed as an unknown fertility issue as all tests showed I had no reason for this unfortunate happening.

Then at the age of 24 I was 9 weeks pregnant when my partner who was 25 passed away after he was in a car accident. My 10 week scan showed a healthy baby and as you can imagine I couldn't believe that I had reached this far but was now grieving my partner. My 12 & 16 week scan went well and baby was healthy & growing. I thought I'd finally got my miracle baby until my 20 week scan showed that my baby was below the average percentile. I had regular 2 week scans up till 27 weeks but the growth had stopped and there were other problems developing with the pregnancy. My choice was to continue the pregnancy but advised it would end in a still birth or birth my little boy and hope he would be strong enough to be put on a ventilator. Unfortunately the hospital was unable to help him due to his size and I lost him within 24hours of his birth.

In 2014 After a long 5year healing process I met my partner and we almost immediately knew we wanted a family together. Again I suffered 2 miscarriages which led us to start our IVF journey.

We have had 3 cycles, first cycle we were blessed with 3 embryos, they were individually implanted, the first 2 failed and the 3rd was a chemical pregnancy.

Our second round we had 7 embryos our 2nd transfer of the cycle implanted but unfortunately I miscarried again at 8 weeks. The remaining 5 failed implantation.

Our 3rd cycle we had 4 embryos, this time we had chromosome testing and discovered 2/4 embryos had an abnormal chromosome count (Aneuploidy). The normal 2 were implanted and also failed.

And that is where I have got to in my 8 year IVF journey.

Unfortunately 3 cycles of IVF, all the extensive testing and 10 implantations with medication bills has left me in a situation of debt.

I financially cannot lend any more money to fund 1 final round so I am seeking help and have been setting up small business ideas and anything I can do to support this last leg of the journey.

So I've had to suck up my pride and set this gofund me up in hope that it can help me raise enough funds for once last final try at being a mother and having my own family.
