Thorley Lane East Woods is a rare and precious green space at the heart of our community. This mature woodland provides an important habitat for wildlife, contributes to local biodiversity, and offers lasting environmental benefits for current and future generations. The woods form part of the Green Belt and have long been recognised for their ecological value and importance to the local area.

The Thorley Lane East Woods Action Group was formed to protect this woodland from inappropriate development and to ensure its environmental, ecological and community value is preserved. We work to raise awareness, engage local residents, share accurate information, and give a voice to those who want to see the woods protected for generations to come. Our mission is simple: to safeguard Thorley Lane East Woods as a woodland for the benefit of both today's community and those who will follow us.

Funds raised through this GoFundMe campaign will help us continue that work. Donations will be used to cover practical campaigning costs, including the design and printing of signage, leaflets and information materials, as well as general awareness-raising and community engagement activities. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help us inform local people, promote the importance of the woods, and strengthen efforts to protect this valuable natural space.

By supporting our campaign, you are helping to ensure that Thorley Lane East Woods remains a thriving woodland, rich in wildlife and accessible for future generations to appreciate and enjoy. Thank you for standing with us and helping to protect this special place.
