Election Day is November 3, and some of the most important races in the country are barely being polled. We want to change that.

On Point Politics is an independent polling firm. No party, campaign or super PAC pays for our work, and every result we release is free to the public with full crosstabs and methodology.

This month we released our Ohio and Texas polls of the Senate and governor races. Both are published in full, including how every group voted, how we weighted the sample and how we identified likely voters.

Now we want to do the same in five more states where the Senate and governor races will shape the country:

What your donation pays for

Each state poll is 650 interviews with registered voters, at $0.99 per completed interview. That’s $643.50 per state and $3,217.50 for all five. Every dollar goes straight to fielding the polls.

Every state we fund gets a full public release: toplines, crosstabs by age, gender, race, education and region, and a county map.

Why independent polling matters

Too much of the polling you see is paid for by someone with a stake in the result. We publish what the data says, including when it surprises us. In Texas we found Talarico leading for Senate while Abbott leads for governor, a split ticket most people didn’t expect. That’s the kind of finding you only get when nobody is telling the pollster what to find.

What happens next

As each state is funded, we field the poll and release the results publicly on our Substack and social media, usually within a day of closing the survey.
