Fund in Memory of Robin Gillespie

We are raising money in memory of Robin, our dear friend, daughter, sister, wife, mother, teacher, and colleague, who bravely battled her illness with grace and courage for many years.  She inspired so many as a powerful union advocate, teacher and researcher with her beloved transportation workers, and was a brilliant and progressive voice in the public and occupational health movements. 

The Robin Gillespie Fund for Worker Education and Leadership will be established at the CUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies  for the benefit of workers who continue the fight for worker and union rights, safe workplaces, solidarity, and social justice.

We will always miss you Robin and send our love and support to Richard, Vera, Nathan, and the extended family.
