As some of you may know i was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer in January. Its been a long year and I've done alot to stay on top of things and not fall behind with bills. Recently I was told I do not qualify for Medicaid. But as a single mom of two kids and one with autism. I can't afford medical Insurance either. I am suppose to be getting immunotherapy but since I do not have medicaid anymore they will not even schedule my appointment for my infusion unless I have insurance or I pay it ahead of time. Problem is the cost of my Infusion For just 1 day is $105,000 dollars. Medical Insurance for one month would be 500 dollars. But with the economy there is no way I can afford that. Ive already missed two rounds of trestment. I dont get any state help with food or housing. So what I get from work is all I have. If you can help at all so I can get the treatments I need and get insurance so I can be healthy and be with my family. And do everything I can to make sure I am able to be here for my kids growing up. It would mean everything to me. Choosing to have a home for my kids or be healthy should never have to be a choice.
