Hello all!
We are Horace Anderson and Bella Masrouga, two film students studying abroad in France. Since meeting, we’ve connected over our filmmaking practice and our shared desire to convey the complex forms of beauty. For the last few months, we have been working on a screenplay about three women; pulling from family history, inter-generational relationships, ancient mythology, and the forward march of time, we've developed the story of My Mother’s Coven.
We are looking for help covering the costs of transportation, housing, and food for the duration of the shoot.
Logline:
Three generations of witches travel - guided by the stars - to complete an ancient ritual motivated by the declining health of the eldest, Edith, and the subsequent change in the Coven’s hierarchy that will follow her inevitable death.
About Horace’s films:
Horace’s movies attempt to show a higher level of sensitivity and care, primarily in showing beauty and slowness. Dreamy movies that hope to capture the feelings just after one wakes, where reality seems strange, slow and beautiful.
