Need Your Help to Escape Gaza

We are a Palestinian family living in Gaza, where the war never ends and hope fades more each day. We are surviving under extremely harsh conditions — no electricity, severe food shortages, constant fear, and total insecurity. There is no future for us here, only a daily struggle to stay alive.

Every day we face hunger, bombings, and a lack of the most basic necessities. We can no longer endure this. Our only dream now is to escape Gaza and start a safe life, where we can live with dignity and give our children the future they deserve.

But the cost of leaving Gaza is incredibly high, and we have nothing. This is why we are asking for your help — even a small donation can bring us closer to safety, to hope, to life.

نحن عائلة فلسطينية نعيش في قطاع غزة، حيث الحرب لا تنتهي، والأمل يختفي يومًا بعد يوم. نعيش تحت ظروف قاسية جدًا — انقطاع الكهرباء، نقص الطعام، الخوف المستمر، وانعدام الأمان. لا يوجد مستقبل لنا هنا، فقط صراع يومي للبقاء على قيد الحياة.

كل يوم نواجه الجوع، القصف، وانعدام أدنى مقومات الحياة. لم يعد بإمكاننا احتمال المزيد، حلمنا الوحيد الآن هو الخروج من غزة والبدء بحياة آمنة، نعيش فيها بكرامة ونوفر لأطفالنا مستقبلاً يستحقونه.

لكن تكلفة الخروج من غزة باهظة جدًا ولا نملك منها شيئًا. لهذا السبب، نحن نطلب منكم المساعدة، ولو بالقليل. كل مساهمة، مهما كانت صغيرة، تقربنا من النجاة، من الأمل، من الحياة.

Here Nagham Hossam explains her family's situation in Gaza:

My father is a government employee in Gaza. He works hard despite the harsh and difficult conditions. But unfortunately, for months now, he hasn’t been able to withdraw his salary due to the lack of cash in the banks. His salary exists only on paper — in reality, we receive nothing.

The situation in Gaza is getting worse every day. There is no electricity, no clean water, and no safety. Even basic necessities like food are becoming harder to obtain. My father is unable to provide for the family, even though he works — and that breaks his heart, and ours.

We are living in conditions no human should endure. We try to be patient, but life has become unbearable.

My mother is unemployed, not by choice, but because her workplace is under siege and she can’t reach it.

She used to work and support our family, but now she is stuck at home, unable to move freely or earn a living.

The blockade has taken away her job, her independence, and her ability to help us survive.

أبي موظف في غزة، يعمل بجهد وتعب رغم كل الظروف القاسية. لكن للأسف، منذ شهور وهو لا يستطيع سحب راتبه بسبب عدم توفر السيولة في البنوك. الراتب موجود اسميًا فقط، أما فعليًا فلا يصلنا منه شيء.

الوضع في غزة يزداد سوءًا كل يوم. لا يوجد كهرباء، ولا ماء، ولا أمان. والآن حتى لقمة العيش أصبحت صعبة. أبي عاجز عن تلبية احتياجات البيت، رغم أنه يعمل، وهذا أكثر ما يكسر قلبه وقلبنا.

نحن نعيش في ظروف لا يتحملها بشر، ونحاول الصبر، لكن الحياة أصبحت لا تطاق.

والدتي عاطلة عن العمل، ليس لأنها لا تريد العمل، بل لأن مكان عملها محاصر ولا تستطيع الوصول إليه.

كانت تعمل وتساعد في إعالة العائلة، لكنها اليوم حبيسة البيت، عاجزة عن التحرك بحرية أو تأمين مصدر دخل.

الحصار حرمها من عملها، ومن استقلالها، ومن قدرتها على مساعدتنا في مواجهة هذه الحياة القاسية.

My sister used to dream of finishing her education and passing her final high school exams (Tawjihi), but the war and the situation in Gaza stole two academic years from her life.

She used to study by candlelight, trying to focus while bombs fell around us — but how can a mind concentrate in the middle of fear and hunger?

Year after year passed, and her dream kept slipping further away. She didn’t leave school by choice — life forced her to stop.

Two years of her life were lost, and with them, her chance for education and stability. Now she sits in silence, looking around, her heart full of pain and sorrow.

أختي كانت تحلم تكمل دراستها، وتنجح في التوجيهي، لكن الحرب والوضع في غزة سرقوا منها سنتين دراسيتين من عمرها.

كانت تفتح كتبها على ضوء الشموع، تحاول تدرس وسط أصوات القصف، لكن كيف لعقلها أن يركّز وهي محاطة بالخوف والجوع؟

مرّ العام تلو الآخر، وكل يوم حلمها بيبعد عنها شوي. ما تركت الدراسة بإرادتها، لكن الحياة فرضت عليها الغياب.

ضاعت سنتين من عمرها، وسُرقت منها فرصة التعليم والاستقرار. وهي اليوم تجلس بصمت، تنظر حولها، وقلبها مليان ألم وحسرة.

نحن ثلاثة أخوات وأخ صغير، أحلامنا بسيطة جدًا…

أخي الصغير لا يحلم سوى برغيف خبز. ونحن فقدنا تعليمنا، لم نعد نقدر نركز أو نكمل دراستنا وسط القصف والجوع والخوف.

حياتنا تحوّلت إلى أعباء أكبر من أعمارنا، نعيش تحت ضغط نفسي وجسدي لا يحتمله الكبار، فكيف نتحمله نحن؟

طفولتنا ضاعت، وأحلامنا تنكسر يومًا بعد يوم. كل ما نريده الآن هو حياة آمنة، فرصة للتعليم، ولقمة خبز نأكلها بدون خوف.

We are three sisters and one little brother. Our dreams are so simple...

My little brother dreams only of a piece of bread. We lost our education — we can no longer focus or continue studying under the sounds of bombing, hunger, and fear.

Our lives have become filled with responsibilities far bigger than our age. We live under pressure — mentally and physically — that even adults can't handle.

Our childhood has been stolen, and our dreams break more each day. All we want now is a safe life, a chance to learn, and a piece of bread we can eat without fear.

My grandmother is sick — she suffers from heart disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure.

Her old age makes her even more vulnerable to pain, but she doesn’t even have access to proper treatment.

The medicine she needs is either unavailable in Gaza or far too expensive for us to afford.

We watch her suffer every day, unable to help — and that breaks our hearts more than anything else.

كبر سنها يجعلها أضعف أمام كل هذا الألم، لكنها لا تملك حتى حق العلاج.

الأدوية التي تحتاجها غير متوفرة في غزة، وإن وُجدت، فهي باهظة الثمن ولا نستطيع تأمينها.

نشاهدها تتألم يوميًا، دون أن نستطيع فعل شيء… وهذا أكثر ما يوجع
