Hi, my name is Victoria Omisore, I am the director of TON studios known as Touch of Nostalgia studios on IG TOUCH OF NOSTALGIA STUDIOS IS A MULTI-DISCIPLINARY DESIGN STUDIO BASED IN THE UK.

Our Main pillar is Photorealistic architectural CGI rendering where we can show the prediction of projects in CG for renovations, new build projects and interior design ideas for a space.

2023 for a lot of people has been a very challenging year for employment myself included and hence one of the main reasons I have decided to focus on my studio full-time and take on more freelance work.

This year I have decided not to sit on skills that could employ me instead of waiting for an employer to do so, so I am reaching out to my community to support me and to help me achieve my goal.

I have also applied for sponsorships and grants, like the YOUNG ENTREPRENEURSHIP COMPETITION 2024 AND THE BLACK ARTIST CREATORS FUND but I am creating a GoFundMe page to help support me in getting equipment for my home studio office where I will be taking most of my work.

Before this, I have been renting out cameras, and using my University computers but this is not feasible for me to be fully productive and also the add-up costs of renting equipment and money on travel to access computers for rendering and be able to do it full time so I am asking for the support of my wider network my friends, family and extended family, my fellow church members and online community to support me getting the equipment I need to help take TON STUDIO to the next level.

The money given will be used to acquire Camera equipment for real estate photography and videography, a high-powered computer for real-time CGI rendering and Motion capture and VR equipment to show clients immersive views of their projects all used to Help TON elevate and for me to be able to operate as Full-time job and be self-employed.

This money will enable me to also collaborate with other interior designers and architectural studios, and help expand my freelance portfolio.

Matthew 7:7 says “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

The analogy I am using with asking for this gofundme page is that as little as 10 pounds from every individual in my network of people, being industry related, family and friends or just Internet supporters will be enough to reach this goal.

The saying says it takes a village to raise a child in the same way it takes a community to help raise a business so if I can get as little as 1,000 people to give £10 towards the creative fund I know I have achieved something as a black creative it is imperative I look to my community to help me grow.

I refuse to let this year not be a year of achieving great success and be a stagnant year like last year so please if possible, I am asking to try achieving this goal by February 2024 and asking for as little as £10 of course those who are happy and convicted to give more please do so but I believe with the network of people supporting me I will achieve the full amount to get everything to start operating as a full business and get the amount I am asking for.
