Hi, my name is Hisham and I'm a competitor in Elsie Macgill's DECA Chapter. DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.

I recently took part in the Ontario Provincials competition honing 6,500+ competitors, specifically within the Sports and Entertainment Operations Research Event (SEOR). I was honored to be awarded provincial champion and as a result qualified for ICDC in Atlanta, Georgia.

My project was developed specifically around the Town of Milton Recreation department, focusing on strengthening CSR and creating long-term, measurable community impact. Competing at ICDC allows me to showcase this work and compete on the international stage whilst representing Milton's community and culture.

In order to make this trip a reality and become one of the first from my school's chapter to attend ICDC, I set up this GoFundMe to help cover costs for ICDC. These funds would not only allow me to experience a conference like none another; but help me represent Milton on an International stage. It would truly be a dream come true to attend ICDC.
