Hi everyone, my name is Paramdeep Singh. I am a resident of Rancho Cordova, California.
I am raising funds for Harmanpreet Singh. He was born on 09/11/2000 and was with us until 05/07/2025. He passed away around 7:30 am at Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento, California.
He was taken to the hospital in an ambulance from his work (liquor store) the night before around 10:00 pm while he was getting ready to end his shift. Unfortunately, he had a sudden cardiac arrest. A customer entered the store, found him on the floor, called 911, and tried to help him, but he didn’t respond. He was not breathing at all. After a few minutes, law enforcement and the ambulance arrived and took him to Mercy General Hospital, where he started to breathe again, but that was just for a few seconds. They took him to the ICU, where he stayed for almost 7 hours, but his body filled with blood. Doctors tried to pump the blood out, but he didn’t make it. Blood went into his lungs, and we lost our young Harman at a very young age!
He came to us in 2023. He belongs to a village, Bahadargarh Dalania, Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab.
Back home, he has 3 sisters, 1 older brother, and Mom and Dad. They took out loans and sold whatever they had to get their son to the USA for a better life and future. They sent him here with so many expectations, but now they’ve lost it all. He was the only one working and helping his family with everything, but now they are stuck with this big loss of a young kid who is never coming back. So, we are trying to help his family as much as we all can.
This fundraiser is going to be for his funeral and to help his family. Every single dollar will be appreciated.
