Fund Gwendolyn Hill's Healing Journey

Hello family and friends!
My name is Adrian Hill and my siblings, and I have decided to do a GoFundMe page for our mother, Gwendolyn Hill.
Just to give you a glimpse of her everyday life, she is the matriarch of our family. She turned 80 years young in February. She has a hair salon that she still works out of at least four days a week. She is self-sufficient and rarely needs help from others. This year she was awarded by the City of Santa Ana as the longest standing black owned business, and she is by far one of the jazziest women you will ever meet.
It all started with a mild cold. That week she had to cancel her appointments because she wasn't feeling well. To know Gweni is to know that she would never under any circumstances miss an entire week of work because she didn't feel well. So that was the red light that came on indicating something was really wrong.
On June 3, 2024, we noticed our mother was rapidly declining and 911 was called. Gweni was taken to the hospital via ambulance and that is when we found out she was severely dehydrated, and her blood pressure was dangerously low.
After being hooked up on an IV and still nothing changing with any of her vital signs, they felt it was best to move her to ICU. Once she was moved to ICU we found out that she had Septic Shock with acute organ dysfunction (kidneys and other organs failing). One kidney had kidney stones blocking the urine and the other kidney has a mass on it. She had infection throughout her body, as well as pneumonia.
By the power of prayer, we finally got a glimpse of hope when all of her numbers began to regulate. Although she was still on oxygen at least it was a lower dose, she was still taking antibiotics for the infection, and her blood pressure was regulated with medication. The doctors were amazed at how quickly she turned things around and after one long week of being in ICU they were going to move her down to a lower-level room, ultimately moving her to a rehab.
She has now been in the rehab facility for two weeks and slowly but surely, she is coming around. She still is unable to walk on her own due to muscle atrophy. Her doctor felt like rehab would be best for her to regain her strength.
In just a few days her copay will go from zero to $200 per day. We also have to factor in the cost of her rent for her beauty salon. Since she is unable to work, she cannot afford any of this. We are asking for donations and love offerings on her behalf so that she can focus all of her energy on healing and getting her strength back without having to worry about her bills.
Gweni, has spent her entire life taking care of others, so now at the age of 80, it's time for us to take care of her. We never thought that she would ever get sick, but we are truly grateful for her healing. My siblings and I are truly appreciative and thankful for any contribution you can make.
God bless you and thank you so much in advance!
