I'll never forget or recover from the night I lost my dad. My name is Arlene, I am my father's youngest daughter. I'll never forget the day I lost my Dad suddenly going into cardiac arrest...My sister Jen came banging on my door hurry hurry something is wrong with dad I think he is having a heart attack! I already called 911...10/24/2025. I got there I could see my dad on my brother's floor barely holding on... he was holding his chest laying on his side he looked up at me in pain but then saying his last words "Arlene Arlene... " And then he looked at me smiled and went. He passed in front of me & my sister Jennifer & my down syndrome brother... Baby Gilberto. He passed away on my brother's floor at his home at 9:34 pm in front of his kids expect Elizabeth. They couldn't bring him back. Even I tried to bring him back That's my Daddy... but I couldn't. We are all taking it very hard... I am taking it very hard...
My Dad, Gilberto Quesada Jr was a father a husband to my Mom for many years (18) a Father of 4, Granddad of 8 grandchildren, a good friend to everyone. He was the guy with the biggest personality everywhere he went. He was my hero. The best caring Dad any girl could have ever asked for. He loved his Family, Dancing, Karaoke & most of all his devotion to God. He attended Horse Mann Middle School & Thomas Jefferson Highschool. He did a handful of marathons in his life. He loved to play the Harmonica. He loved spending time being out with friends & family. My Dad would be friend everyone & talk to everyone. And the type of person to make you laugh or smile....
His passing being so unexpectedly, we (his kids) are trying to raise funds to host a nice service for him. We (I) am able to pay for a little more than half of the funeral but it is still not enough... I don't want to leave at dad at the morgue long... We his kids are depressed and overwhelmed with everything going on...
If you would like to help or offer a hand at this time or anything to help us proceed for my Dad's services please reach out or donations can be made to this link to help us in this time that we are grieving.
