My name is Tom Fontana, the Showrunner/Executive Producer/Writer of CITY ON A HILL, a Showtime series filmed here in New York, NY.
On a good day, Production Assistants don’t make a lot of money and these are not good days. We’re starting this GoFundMePage to raise cash for our show's PAs who would be working between now and May 29th which would have been, roughly, the last day of shooting this season.
I know a lot of you are facing unsure economic times. But I would ask everybody to please give something, so that we can let the PAs know that we appreciate them now, as much as we have depended on them in the past.
Our plan is to evenly distribute one hundred percent of these donations directly to the dozens of PAs working on our show this season.
