Friends, Its hard to put into words how grateful we are to God that Kevin Higgins Survived Covid-19 and his family as well.
I watched as we all prayed as a Community, friends, neighbors, family, Jersey Village Baseball Community, and many more. Our prayers came through. This family has been through so much in the past few months.
Let me tell you his daughter Emily's story.......
"My Dad has been in the hospital since April 3rd, dealing with Covid-19 and Pneumonia, and has battled and survived the hardest part, but due to losing a lot of muscle mass, he has been going through physical therapy and getting a little stronger day to day. But since he is currently unable to walk or get up by himself, home modifications and medical staff are the next steps in getting him home, most likely in a wheelchair. We are all positive that he will be able to walk again, but until then there will be some new obstacles as a family to overcome, as we try and make sure he is continuing to get stronger everyday."
I have to put it out there that the Family has had their share of difficulties this year including Molly (Kevins wife) just battled her own health issues and lost her job.(Molly forgive me for sharing)
Friends, This is a very Proud family and they never ask for anything. However after talking to their daughter Emily, They are in need of a little help financially to get through these tough times.
Please help the Higgins family get past this COVID-19 tragedy, so they can recover.
