By now you have heard the news that the daughter of Lance Harper, our SCPR Chief Engineer, has died following a tragic accident.

Megan had broken her ankle last week and, according to the doctor, it likely caused a pulmonary embolism.  In 25% of the circumstances the symptoms of a pulmonary embolism are sudden death, which appears to be what happened here. She was in her early 20s.

Megan was surrounded by her family including her mom Allison, who only last month broke her neck in a freak accident.

Funeral plans are still being arranged, and any updates regarding locations and times will be communicated once available. 

What has happened is beyond comprehension and we are all still in shock. Understandably Lance and his family are struggling to cope, so we at SCPR are stepping in to help with organizing Megan’s funeral and family expenses.

We have already had numerous emails, texts and messages from people asking how to help, so this campaign has been created as a way to keep everyone up-to-date with plans, and also offer a place for messages and donations to be left.  If you would like to donate whatever you can,  just click on the donate button.
