Hello, my name is Geneva. I'm organizing this fundraiser in support of the Greenberg family who I hold dear to me, and who have just suffered unthinkable loss in the Eaton fire of Altadena / Los Angeles. Joel, Pamela, their son Tom and his girlfriend Marisol all lived together in the family home, which they had inhabited for 30+ years. Thankfully they were able to safely evacuate last night, but the devastating news came today that their house did not make it. All personal belongings, family keepsakes, memories, clothes... A lifetime of a home built all of a sudden vanished.

Joel and Pamela's daughter Anna is a long, dear friend of mine who I have shared many milestones with in life. She was my first friend moving to the Bay 15 years ago, where my first gig there was accompanying a dance performance of hers. We lived together for 2 years, I officiated her and her husband's wedding, we've traveled together, shared many holidays together - I feel particularly tender, and very grateful, that the family just opened their loving home to me for the recent winter holidays and we spent Christmas together.

Anna has been my rock in the best and hardest of times. Her family is my family. Please join me in helping to keep them safe. My goal for these funds is to serve their immediate needs and stability, and help contribute to the long climb over the hill to creating a life again.
