Hi, my name is Taliq Niles-Clarke, I am 22 years old, I recently embarked on my journey to Canada, to spend some time with my cousin, and in hopes of a better opportunity, away from my home island of Barbados.
Unfortunately, upon my trip, I came down with a severe case of pneumonia, cutting my time short and ending up in the hospital (Humber River Hospital) being taken care of in ICU.
Several days of throwing up, and coughing up blood. What was supposed to be a night in, has ended up with me being admitted into ICU, for over 2 weeks now, and a hospital bill racking up daily, currently sat on $35,000 CAD, and going up daily, unfortunately mine, and my families circumstances, have put us into a bad position, not being able to cover the hospital bill, or even make a dent in it
So in hopes of getting assistance, from the kind hearts and souls of the world, we're hoping to get even a fraction of the hospital bill assisted with.
