My name is Britny Keyes and I’m asking for help for my friend Nicole Pryor. Nicole has been my best friend for the past eight years.
On Saturday March 4 Nicole had received the news that her mother, Joanne Pryor, had passed away peacefully in her sleep. Joanne raised Nicole and her three sisters all by herself in the Parkwood section of Northeast Philadelphia. Nicole’s mother provided a great home life and most importantly a Catholic education for her children. Nicole is a twenty-year old Sophomore at Holy Family University pursuing a nursing degree like her mother!
Nicole is such an amazing and selfless person, she is respectful and caring and dedicates her time to everyone. Nicole, currently volunteers at Saint Anselm as part of their CCD program, helping to educate children on their religion that either can’t afford catholic school or choose not to attend. While volunteering, she also has a job at a health care facility and works as a manager at Rita’s water ice. Even after all that she still has time to attend Holy Family University as a full time Nursing student. A nursing student that can handle all of that is nothing short of amazing. She has always worked for everything she has and is such a strong and determined person who really has her goals set.
Since her moms passing this is definitely going to put a huge emotional and also a financial loss to her and her family. Nicole relied on her Mom for her home and to help with her bills. Even though Nicole has two jobs this isn’t enough for someone her age with student loans and regular house bills that her mother would normally pay. No one this young should have to face anything like this. So far Nicole has been so strong and I am so proud of her. But now its our turn. I’m asking you for anything that you can donate to help my best friend because she needs your help now more than ever. I would also like to keep this fundraiser private from Nicole and her family during this time. If you could send the link through messenger that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all, with love Britny!
