As most of you know by now, Nakia, my sister, my BFF passed away last week. She has been battling pneumonia and an infection which got in her blood stream. I am devastated as well as her children, the youngest being 10 y/o. 

Nakia has recently moved to Oklahoma City to start another chapter of her life after taking care of and losing her mother in January.

Needless to say, the children are trying to make arrangements on their own until I can make it to them. They would like to bring their mother back and the children also want to get back to VA to be with family. I am determined to make that happen even if I have to fly out there and drive them back. But first we must make arrangements for her remains to return, which will cost a little over $2000. 

As the children’s godmother, I want to honor their wishes. They want to bury their mother near their grandmother. Any help will be greatly appreciated as this happened so unexpectedly.

Love and light to all of you. Thank you for the outpouring of calls and texts. She was loved andwill be missed immensely. She loved her children more than anything and was a good mother. I know when she left us, she knew they wouldbe taken care of and they will. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
