Hi there! Here’s Mochi! He’s just over a year old now, and the most cuddly and playful little guy. We’ve had him since he was 4 months old. Since then, we’ve helped him through sensitive tummy issues and have a long-term plan for recurrent eye problems. Despite the setbacks, he’s never stopped being his goofy self, until Wednesday night when we noticed him trying to play but not moving his back legs much. Then Thursday morning, he got upset when we tried to touch him, and we noticed him limping on his left leg. We knew to get him seen immediately. In the X-rays, it showed a fracture on his femur head joint, which will need to be removed for him to recover. Most likely caused by a fall off his cat tree or hitting something on accident, I wish we knew exactly. After surgery and recovery, he’ll be able to play and run again, but for now, he’s in rest mode. We’ve done everything in our power to help him and give him the best life possible. This surgery is expensive but necessary. I’m hoping for help as we navigate where to go from here financially. Thank you all so much!
