Fund for Liberation Education in WA State Prisons

Fabian’s Fund is an organization based in Seattle, Washington, that is focused on supporting the sustainability of healthy, vibrant, thriving black and brown communities. A number of political, social, and economic forces like mass incarceration, the school-to-prison pipeline, and gentrification are having a disproportionate and dramatic destructive impact on the social and economic ecology of these communities. Fabian’s believes that the liberation of these communities is fundamental to the health of the country.

In keeping with these values, Fabian’s provides resources  (tuition, textbooks, books, supplies, and in-prison logistical support) for Prisoner-Led Liberation Education in Washington State.  Fabian’s provides resources at three prisons where over 300 prisoners are enrolled in classes and is engaged in requests for Liberation Education support at four more prisons!

All donations made via the fundraiser will be matched, dollar-for-dollar, for a total of up to $10k.
