Fund for Injured SPL Parent

At our Championship Meet on Saturday, 5/18, coach and parent Rob Miller was injured when a secured tent was lifted by strong winds, hitting Rob head-on. After being moved by ambulance to the local hospital, Rob was immediately transferred to Hinsdale where he underwent surgery to treat a severe head injury. He is doing well but faces a long road to full recovery.
Many have asked how to help Rob and his family. As such, this fund is created to help defray medical expenses not covered by insurance as well as work-time lost by Rob and his caretakers. To be frank, we do not know what the exact expense will be. Any excess funds will be given to the SPL to support the mission of Track & Field in our schools and communities. I will continue to update the SPL family!
