Fund For Heritage

A few months ago, I had the pleasure of reconnecting with a dear friend on social media. She is an antique textile dealer who has spent the last 15 years living in Istanbul, carefully curating a collection of vintage items. Among her collection are several Hazara textiles, each with a rich history. She has always dreamed of returning these beautiful pieces to the women who originally created them, or at least ensuring they return to their cultural origins.

This fundraising campaign is dedicated to preserving and protecting Hazara heritage resources. The funds raised will be used to purchase 24 unique Hazara textile designs created by our ancestors across Hazarastan in the 1960s & 1970s. After securing these vintage pieces, they will be photographed and displayed on our Instagram page, https://www.instagram.com/theartofhazaraembroidery/ where they can inspire your designs, artworks, and projects.
