Fund for Hard Drives and Data Recovery
Donation protected
Updates:
I have managed to find out that replacing the Hard Drive PCBs though a service that transfers the bios from the broken drive to a new PCB allows for the drives to be saved, significantly reducing the costs I need for repairing my PC.
This is my PC restoration fund, to recover 20 years' worth of lost data and replace my broken hard drives.
Background:
I am mentally and physically unable to work, but have been denied disability assistance. Recently, my PC broke down, and while I was able to fix most of the computer, my hard drives with 20 years of personal data have been rendered inoperable.
Breakdown of Costs:
Data recovery: $90 - Fully Funded! (completed)
Hard Drive PCB replacements: 324.94 - Partially Funded! (completed)
New HDDs: the rest
Goals:
My goals are twofold: to pay for new hard drive PCB's to replace the inoperable ones/replace drives, and to pay for data recovery of my personal data.
