Hi my name is Jess and I’m fundraising for my beautiful sister Tracie, on the 18th may 2025 Tracie was taken to a+e withybush by her partner Steve as she was feeling severely unwell. On being admitted they suspected Tracie had an abdominal issue. Tracie was taken down for surgery on the 20th, unfortunately when they opened her up they found her abdomen was full of puss, they managed to clean it out and transfer her straight to ICU whilst they tried to locate the cause of the puss. Tracie then contracted sepsis and was Sedated, Tracie was then put on dialysis, Tracie spent 3 full weeks highly sedated, all tests kept coming back as negative. Finally after 37days in ICU another MRI scan showed an issue in the pelvis area. Tracie had endometriosis (undiagnosed until this day) a mass the size of a plum, a blocked fallopian tube and a cyst on the other ovary alongside fluid in the pelvis. Fortunately Tracie is now awake and fully able to communicate after having a tracheotomy fitted last week. Unfortunately due to complications Tracie has necrosis in both hands and both feet which unfortunately will lead to amputation of both hands and feet ( to what level wether it be wrist/forearm ankle/ below knee) we will not know for another week or so. We are hoping to raise funds to cover the bills for Tracie’s partner and children. Alongside fuel for Steve to visit Tracie once she is moved to Morriston hospital for surgery, due to Steve being made redundant in march 2025. As well as extra funds to cover the cost of prosthetics so tracie can continue being the strong independent woman she is. Tracie works at Tesco Haverfordwest (nights) and will now only have SSP until she is well enough to return to work, any donation is greatly appreciated to take the burden off Tracie and Steve whilst she focuses on getting better.
Hi all. This is steve tracie partner. For several months we've been going through the foster care of our granddaughter bella-rose. Tracie was admitted to A&E on the 19th of may, final hearing for the foster plan was on the 23rd of may, which we never got to as tracie was in for an emergency on the 20th. We've had to cancel the foster plan which now has been a massive impact on all our lives, especially little bella-rose. And all involved. Tracie 6 weeks later is now off sedation and is now fully aware of what's going on, not only is she dealing with the loss of our granddaughter, she's also now dealing with the loss of her limbs,I was made redundant in march an UC have said were invited to no help until December as my redundancy pay should of lasted until then, as if we had a crystal ball and new this was going to happen, ive had to get in touch with citizens advice an local MP regarding this. So a really bad situation made worse. Any donations towards the cost of prosthetic will truly be great full.
All our thanks to anyone who can help at this time. Thank you..
❤️❤️
