Fund for Dawn Pernell's Cancer Treatment

Hi, My name is Riley. I am a student athlete and try my best to be a good son. My mother has recently been diagnosed with Stage 3 lung carcinoma, and will have to undergo a 6 week radiation and chemotherapy process in order to recover.

Many people know my mother as a kindhearted, sweet and selfless woman who tries her best to bring others up. My mother is the sole provider for me, she is our single income, working 8-16 hour shifts to help manage the grocery store she works in, she gives up everything so I can pursue my dreams of being a division one athlete, and I want her to be there when I reach those dreams.

Treatment won't be easy, and these funds will help go towards that treatment once it's over, and hopefully chip at the end bill so it's one less thing she has to worry about. Without being able to work, these next few months will be a challenge her and I will be doing our best to overcome, and my mom is not the person to go out of her way to ask for help.
