Fund for Akwese: Accident Recovery

 

On February 2, 2022, our employee, Akwese, was driving to work when she was involved in a severe vehicular accident. She was rushed to the hospital where she underwent emergency brain surgery due to severe head trauma. Akwese also suffered from multiple fractures on her right arm, leg and hip that required surgery, as well. Akwese has medical insurance; however, costs are significantly high due to the severity of the accident.
 
Akwese joined our organization in October 2021. She has been an exemplary employee, highly respected by her cohorts and loved by our residents. Akwese always had a smile on her face and a willingness to go the extra mile, so we want to return the favor.
 
We are asking for community support to assist Akwese with her growing medical bills so that she can focus on her long and difficult recovery. She remains in the hospital on pressure support and family is looking for a long-term care facility once she is released from the hospital.
All donations will go to Akwese's mother, Linda.
