My daughter’s sweet 14 year-old friend, Elisha, just lost BOTH of her parents. In November, her dad passed away from a rare form of Leukemia. Last week, her mom lost her five-year battle with breast cancer. The medical expenses were extravagant, with both of them requiring extensive surgeries, procedures, and hospital stays. Now, Elisha is not only dealing with the loss of her parents who died only three months apart from each other, but she is also going to have to move to Atlanta. She will be leaving everything she’s known and loved. We are hoping to raise enough money (and her spirits) to help cover some of her expenses from now into college. We want her to know she is not alone in this world and is loved by so many people. Her parents were faithful servants and helped so many people throughout their lives, it’s our chance to bless this family.
