Hello, my name is Matthew Castillo. I’m a Tyler native, Troup High School alum, and recent graduate of UT Tyler.

Over the last 5 months, I’ve developed FireAI — an AI-powered fire detector that’s been shown to detect fires up to 2 minutes and 20 seconds faster than the top smoke detectors on the market.

We’re now in the final stage of development. I’m working with a product design firm to bring this life-saving technology to homes — but to move forward, I need your help to finance a deposit with the firm.
