Fund Felicia's Urgent Trip for Surgery

Hi my name is Felicia Escobar. In December of 2023, I became a first-time Mom to my beautiful daughter, Mia. Being a mom has been the best thing in the world and I adore my daughter. On February 14th of 2024, I had fallen asleep with Mia on my chest and I started having a seizure in my sleep. Luckily, my boyfriend was in the room and he grabbed the baby and called 911. I was taken to the ER here in Fresno where they did a CT and an MRI and that's when they found a mass on my brain. The next day, they did a brain biopsy and sent it to UCSF.

I spent the next 2 weeks in the hospital away from my 2-month-old daughter which broke my heart and I cried every night I was there. Then on March 29th, I was officially diagnosed with cancer, a grade 2 brain tumor. After 4 months of waiting for answers, I have an amazing opportunity to go to UCSF for some of the best doctors/surgeons to do brain surgery and remove as much of the tumor as they safely can. Unfortunately, this is so sudden and we haven’t had any time to save any money for the trip to and from San Francisco.

The trip includes gas, food, and a hotel for 4 days possibly more, and getting our car ready to travel to SF. The date for my surgery isn't set yet due to us trying to get the money together to make the trip out to San Francisco. The doctor has already told me as soon as I have a plan for getting out there then we can set the date which the sooner the better because the last 4 months have been very stressful for my family and I and my symptoms have been getting worse as the days go by. I am going to try to get a date in mid-August. Anything will help and I thank everyone who can help.
