Fund Frontline Organizations' Facilitation Skills

Support the Democracy Center's resident organizations to invest in honing their facilitation skills. Facilitation skills are extremely important, as these organizations lead many community events and stakeholder meetings. The DC's resident organizations are primarily grassroots organizing focused, led by or predominantly BIPOC and/or woman-led.
The Democracy Center (based in Harvard Square) is sponsoring a Facilitate for Freedom Fundamentals training by the Anti Oppression Resource and Training Alliance (AORTA) for resident organizations. Participating organizations include:
- Cambridge HEART / The Black Response
- Better Future Project
- Filling in the Gaps
- New England Bangladeshi American Foundation
- Unity Circles (not a resident organization)
Help us raise $2500 by March 22nd to fully cover the workshop costs.
This will allow up to 45 people to participate in this workshop on anti-oppression facilitation with all expenses covered.
Covering one participant costs about $56.
